Report on the
QSI Specialists Mystery Shopping Seminar at Sea
The
first annual mystery shopping seminar at sea can be
described as nothing less than a huge success! Those
shoppers who were fortunate enough to attend all had
a wonderful time being able to meet the schedulers they
had only conversed with through e-mail and telephone.
They
were also given the opportunity to ask questions in
person and hopefully gain a better understanding of
the process the schedulers go through when assigning
shops. Although the training mostly consisted of an
overview of the basics of mystery shopping, all the
shoppers I talked to said they walked away having learned
something they had not fully understood before, and
were grateful for the training.
The
seminar however, was not all business. Many shoppers
were able to make new friends from fellow shoppers they
met during the cruise. They were able to let loose with
the schedulers and have a good time rather than only
talking with them about shops. Afterward all the shoppers
were discussing the cruise for next year and where they
wanted to go, having had such a good time on the first
one.
It
was a pleasure to be able to meet the people we work
with on a day to day basis and to be able to do so in
a setting that is not only conducive to learning, but
is also conducive to building relationships that are
based not only on business but on a personal level as
well.
